How To Transfer Your Bank Account From Your Previous Address to Present

This tutorial is intended for those people especially working from one place to another. Just like me, this happened when I was working in a prestigious hotel in Makati that I had to open an account for my salary. The bank was Equitable PCI in Rosario, Pasig (that was before  the merger with BDO). 

Years passed and I had to let go of my job to be able to work onboard a cruise ship MS Saga Ruby. Me and my wife opened two separate savings account for remittance but this time the bank was Banco De Oro in Rustan's Cubao (We were renting a small room near Cubao by that time) and years passed again we moved to Cabanatuan City.

Soon, we decided to transfer our bank account from BDO Rustan's Cubao to one of BDO's here in Cabanatuan City because her ATM Card and my ATM Card was stolen together with her wallet and some ID's. I was still onboard that time when it happened, so, what she did was she reported it to BDO 24/7 Hotline # 1 800 10 631 8000 (PLDT Domestic Toll-Free) using our neighbour's PLDT landline.

Just recently we paid a visit to BDO Rustan's Cubao when I got home and the staff that we'd talk to told us to open new accounts in Cabanatuan City before the transfer because they are not allowed to create new accounts. So, at first we were dissapointed. Imagine we travelled far from Central Luzon just to learn that. BDO's in Cabanatuan didn't informed us about it (they just told us to transfer but forgot to tell that we have to open new accounts (what an idiot we are lol).

Anyway, to tell the story short. We came back to Cabanatuan (we bought 2 dozens of J.CO donuts yey!) and we opened  new accounts - we chose BDO Cabanatuan - Paco Roman. The staffs and their manager were very accomodating perhaps it wasn't busy that morning, they were smiling and friendly. In fact they even offered coffee to one of their customer. Cheers!
